We install interior water control systems. This may include; breaking concrete next to the wall, digging a trench for drain tile and drainage stone, drilling weeper holes into wall, installing a rugged, dimpled, high density polyethylene membrane that keeps water away from the living area, and patch concrete area.
Foundation walls with inward deflection of less than 2" will be repaired depending on conditions. This may include; installing 2”x5” steel reinforcement beams every 48”, installing 2"x5" steel reinforcement beams closer to 32” on walls closer to the 2” deflection.
Old windows allow humidity, pests, and drafts. We have also seen vines growing into homes! All that and even allowing water to flow into your home are reasons to consider an upgrade. Generally, block widows or vented block windows are what we install.
Damp, dirty, moldy, and musty crawlspaces can be detrimental causing dry rot and sinking or uneven floors. An encapsulation of the floor and walls is the solution to those problems. We can also install jack posts for floor issues. You'll spend less on energy costs, prevent further moisture damage, and alleviate the bad smells! (Crawlspace must be 4' or higher)
